Mechanical Engineer

Designing, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems for projects, including HVAC systems, fire protection systems, plumbing, and elevators, while ensuring systems comply with local and international safety and quality standards.

Prepare and calculate cooling loads for HVAC systems. Prepare and review mechanical engineering drawings (Shop Drawings). Provide field supervision for the installation of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and elevator systems. Ensure execution complies with approved drawings and technical specifications. Conduct testing and commissioning prior to handover. Coordinate with electrical and civil contractors to ensure system integration. Prepare periodic and preventive maintenance programs for mechanical systems. Follow up on the work of specialized subcontractors (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection).

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) license.

Ability to calculate cooling loads using HAP software, design air ducts, and select appropriate cooling units. Design and distribution of fire sprinklers, fire hose cabinets, and fire pumps in accordance with Saudi Building Code standards. Skilled in designing water supply networks, sanitary drainage systems, and stormwater drainage for buildings. Proficient in using AutoCAD and reading Shop Drawings and mechanical installation details. Ability to calculate pressure loss and select appropriate pumps for water and fire-fighting systems. Understanding of how mechanical systems integrate with the Building Management System (BMS) for energy consumption control and automated operation.
