Job Description

The Land Surveyor is responsible for conducting site surveys, setting out coordinates, axes, and levels, verifying compliance with approved drawings, and preparing accurate survey records and as-built information throughout the project lifecycle. The role supports construction projects located in Jeddah and Madinah.

Responsibilities

* Conduct topographic surveys, setting-out activities, and level measurements at project sites. * Establish and verify coordinates, control points, building axes, boundaries, and elevations. * Review approved drawings, coordinates, and survey data before commencing site work. * Use Total Station, GPS, Auto Level, and other surveying instruments accurately. * Verify that buildings, roads, utilities, and infrastructure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings. * Prepare survey reports, calculations, records, sketches, and as-built survey information. * Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, QA/QC personnel, and consultants to resolve survey discrepancies. * Maintain surveying instruments and ensure that calibration certificates remain valid. * Report any discrepancies, errors, or deviations identified during survey activities. * Maintain accurate and organized survey records throughout the project.

Requirements

* Diploma or bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. * Seven to ten years of relevant land surveying experience. * Previous experience in construction, building, road, or infrastructure projects. * Valid Saudi residency permit, preferably transferable. * Open to all nationalities. * Proficiency in Arabic or English; proficiency in both languages is preferred. * Willingness to work in Jeddah or Madinah, depending on project requirements.

Required Skills

* Proficiency in Total Station, GPS, Auto Level, and related surveying equipment. * Ability to read and interpret engineering and construction drawings. * Good knowledge of coordinates, elevations, control points, and setting-out procedures. * Ability to use AutoCAD and relevant surveying software. * Ability to prepare accurate survey reports and as-built records. * Strong attention to detail and measurement accuracy. * Effective communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a project team. * Ability to work effectively under site conditions and meet project deadlines.
